Your problem sounds like leaking injector or possibly vacuum leak. Carefully spray small amount of throttle body cleaner (or similar flamable cleaner) around vacuum hoses and see if rev's increase.

From my understanding downstream lambda doesn't have any closed loop control on AFR - in fact RS275 has a wideband lambda fitted UPSTREAM, which does all control.
